Get TaxCollector

Currently, TaxCollector requires a UNIX-like OS (Linux, Mac OS X) and Python 2.6 or greater (but less than 3.0)

It currently only works with FASTA files from the RDP 16S rRNA database.

(The publication version supports GreenGenes).

Instructions for creating your own TaxCollector databases are included in the readme (just type ‘make’).
